Campaigns must use a template approved for the selected WhatsApp Business Account.

Create the draft

  1. Open Templates and select Add template.
  2. Use a lowercase name with letters, numbers, and underscores.
  3. Choose the Meta category and language.
  4. Configure the header, body, footer, and buttons.
  5. Add sample values for every variable.
  6. Save locally, then select Submit to Meta.

Approval

Meta reviews the content and category. Pending Review is not sendable. Sync from Meta to receive the latest Approved or Rejected status.
